In Don’s memory, proceeds go to the Don Maynard Scholarship Fund. The Fund awards scholarships to graduating Franklin County public school seniors.
In 2010 we were able to give out two $500 scholarships. Winners were Marissa Jusub of Frontier High School and Megan Grimard from Turners Falls High School. We also had a bench shaded by two trees installed on Nashes Mill Road at the entrance to the Bike Path Bridge that spans the Green River.
In 2009, as in the past, we were able to give out two $500 scholarships. Winners were Alyssa Stankowski of Frontier High School and Molly Beebe of Mohawk High School.
Winners in 2008 were were Gina Varuzzo of Turners Falls High School and Tess Vanden Dolden from Frontier High School.
