In Don’s memory, proceeds go to the Don Maynard Scholarship Fund. The Fund awards scholarships to graduating Franklin County public school seniors.
This year 2010 we were able to give out two $500.00 scholarships. Winners were Marissa Jusub of Frontier High School and Megan Grimard from Turners Falls High School. We also had a bench shaded by two trees installed on Nashes Mill Road at the entrance to the Bike Path Bridge that spans the Green River.
In 2009 as in the past we were able to give out two $500.00 scholarships. Winners last year 2009 were Alyssa Stankowski of Frontier High School and Molly Beebe of Mohawk High School.
